Project: European Inventors Week

Driving the debate on European innovation 

Since 2018, we have partnered with Ericsson to position them as a champion for European innovation and inventors and drive the debate on the value of a strong intellectual property framework.

01The Context

Ericsson needed to shift its perception among EU policymakers and demonstrate the crucial role intellectual property and standardisation play in enabling sustainable innovation in Europe.

02The Move

Partnering with the youth NGO ThinkYoung, we ran a months long comms campaign culminating in the European Inventors Week in the European Parliament.

03The Action

The campaign included a bespoke website, social media campaign, and a week of events and exhibitions in the EU Parliament bringing together policymakers, inventors and youth organisations.

04The Impact

We obtained the endorsement of eight Members of Parliament and the patronage of the European Commissioner. The campaign achieved an aggregate organic audience of 2.8M and the engagement of 45 different organisations on social media.
